Woodburn Planning for Real: Action Planning

Action Planning

On 25th June 2008, Midlothian Council’s Regeneration Development Team held an Action Planning workshop. This event looked at the results of 3 consultations carried out with members of the community between December 2007 – March 2008, which asked people what they liked about the area, what issues existed and what they felt could be improved.

23 people participated in the workshops; a mixture of residents, young people, representatives of community groups, and representatives from Midlothian Council and the Police.

The workshops prioritised the outcomes of the consultations, and gave people an opportunity to suggest actions for taking things forward.

These results are being written into a newsletter that will be posted to members of the community, and shared with Midlothian Council Departments and Partners to help inform their workloads.

If you would like to receive a copy of this newsletter, please contact the Regeneration Development Team on tel. 0131 271 3199 or email Dorothy.Wright@midlothian.gov.uk
