Dalkeith Locality Plan - We Want Your Views
If you live, work or shop in Dalkeith and have opinions about how to improve public services, opportunities and the environment in Central Dalkeith and Woodburn then you may be interested in contributing to the Dalkeith Locality Plan.
Midlothian’s Community Planning Partnership will be creating locality plans for all Community Council areas throughout Midlothian, and is currently working on the plan for the central Dalkeith and Woodburn area. Locality plans are a way for local residents, business people, community activists and service providers to get together to look at what is good about their local area, what needs to be improved, and work on finding solutions.
If you want to take part, drop in to one of our consultation events for a cup of coffee, a cake and a chat. You will have the chance to give us your views and speak to Community Councillors, Midlothian Council staff, and other members of the Dalkeith Locality Plan steering group.

Councillor Alex Bennett, Cabinet Member for Best Value and Community Planning said: "The Locality Plans are an important way for the Community Planning Partners to hear the views and concerns of local people so that we can work with them to help improve their areas. I would therefore urge people to go along to one of the events, or to complete the questionnaire, to let their views be known."
